Irrigation Season

Every Spring we take apart and re-align our wheel-line irrigation systems. By the end of the season, they have wandered far out of alignment with the water riser valves that are spaced every 60’ around the edge of our fields. The lines range form 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile long. In addition to the 3 motorized lines, we have a shorter line that we roll by hand, and a big gun sprinkler that fills in irregular areas. It takes 3 to 4 miles of walking a day to reset all the systems.
