This is one of my favorite songs of all time!!!!!!! 💥💥💥💥 When I wrote it with Emeli Sande it was a deep expression about what’s real and what’s not. At the time, I was first coming up in the music world and I was seeing that people who had the appearance of wealth or endless access often times, weren’t very happy. It was an awakening for me because I could clearly see that on many levels money is just an illusion… “Money, Some people so poor All that they got is money….” So we wrote these words and it became one of the most important songs of my life honestly. When I sat down to play it recently and Egypt jumped in I realize that today… it actually means more than ever I hope you are having beautiful days filled with the real things Love and blessings 😘😘
