Clara Ross “Air de Ballet“ (c. 1895)

A composition for mandolin and guitar (or piano) by the Victorian composer, Clara Ross (later Ross-Ricci), who was born in Brighton (UK) in 1858, and died there in 1954. As well as composing more than 40 published works for mandolin and guitar (or piano), and many songs for voice and piano, she was the leader of “Miss Clara Ross’ Ladies’ Mandolin and Guitar Band,“ which played at many of London’s most fashionable venues during the early 1890s.
