A fragment from the TV movie “To look back for a moment“, based on the works of Boris Zhitkov and Korney Chukovsky. “Odessa Film Studio of the USSR(1984) Sirtaki (from Greek συρτάκι — touching) is a dance created in 1964 for the film “The Greek Zorba“. It is not a Greek folk dance, but it is a combination of slow and fast versions of the hasapiko, an ancient warrior dance. The sirtaki dance, as well as the music for it, written by the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, is sometimes called the “Zorba Dance“. The choreographer of the film and, in particular, the dance of Zorba and Basil in the final scene, was Yorgos Provias. Он не является народным греческим танцем, однако представляет собой сочетание медленных и быстрых версий хасапико — старинного танца воинов. Танец сиртаки, а также музыку к нему, написанную греческим композитором Микисом Теодоракисом, иногда называют «Танец Зорбы». Хореографом фильма и, в частности, танца Зорбы и Бэзила в финальной сцене, был Йоргос Провиас.
