Grzegorz Kosiński performs Beethoven`s Fifth „Fate“ Symphony in C minor (c-moll), op. 67, mov. 1, allegro con brio.
Piece originally written for: 1st piccolo flute, 2nd piccolo flute, 1st oboe, 2nd oboe, 1st clarinet, 2nd clarinet, 1st bassoon, 2nd bassoon, 1st horn, 2nd horn, 1st trumpet, 2nd trumpet, 1st violin, 2nd violin, viola, cello, contrabass and tympani (and their multiples). These all instruments have been replaced by the 13 electric guitars, 1 acoustic guitar, 3 bass guitars and a djembe drum, according to the legend at the beginning of the film. As in the original, each one plays something different, even for example - two trumpets.
Beethoven asked how to interpret the famous four-note opening motif of V symphony allegedly answered; - So pocht das Schicksal an die Pforte (That`s how the fate knocking to the gate). It remains for me to agree with that, because this work is
