In the early 80s, he was producing several musical projects, and he had the idea to create a disco group like the super-popular French duo Ottawan in those years. His idea was supported by another producer, Micky Music. In collaboration with composer R. Sigo, Raymond recorded the track “Roller Boogie“ (1980), in which the verse was performed by a robot voice generated on the synthesizer, and the chorus was performed by two pretty backing vocalists. The song was released as a single and due to its unusual sound and interesting rhythm hit the charts in Belgium (No. 3) and several European countries, including Germany, France and Denmark. In a hurry, and released a video for this composition, which became a hit on various music TV programs. A year later, R. Felix and R. Sigo recorded another composition - “Zoo Zoo“ (1981), which brought them even greater success. “Come to the zoo to watch the trumpet elephant and the monkey show!“ - sang in this simple song, but the rhythm and arrangement of the producers hit the bull’s-eye again, and as a result, “Zoo Zoo” was at the top of the charts of seven countries. And despite the fact that the fans of “Bisquit“ never heard either the third single or the full-length album, this group managed to make a noticeable contribution to the formation of the European disco sound of the early 80s. In the USSR, the song “Zoo Zoo“ was well known to fans of dance music and was repeatedly sounded on the air, but due to a lack of information, the presenters of radio programs claimed that this song was performed in 1982 by Annette, a former member of the group “Ottawan“. And in the era of perestroika, a little-known musical group performed a cover version of “Zoo Zoo“ in Russian.
