Easy to Make Adjustable Push Block From Plywood

This adjustable push block was inspired, because I was shocked to learn the price of the microjig here in the UK (I don’t know how it compares to US prices) so I thought I can at least give it ago at making my own. This was what I came up with, however I think I can improve the design even more to make it a better working tool.
