Major X4.5 Solar Flare | May 6, 2024

A Major X-Class solar flare peaking to X4.5 was unleashed around Active Region 13663 in the suns northern hemisphere at 06:35 UTC May 6 Associated with this blast was a R3 Radio Blackout. Todays event was the 3rd strongest solar flare during the current Solar Cycle.
