Several streets were flooded Monday afternoon in the city of Resita after the Fire Department crews are working in several locations in the municipality and surrounding areas to evacuate water from several households. Heavy rain has turned the city of Resita into a little Venice. Firefighters are intervening in several areas to evacuate water. The County Emergency Management Office supplemented crews to be able to deal with requests on the ground after the rain, which lasted about 30 minutes. For now, crews are focused on the municipality of Resita and its neighborhoods most affected by the phenomenon. Several streets were flooded, as well as households. Romanian firefighters worked to clear fallen building elements, six poles and 117 fallen trees. Activities were carried out to pump out water from one outbuilding, seven basements, two cellars and two streets. Emergency crews remain on duty to effectively manage emergencies and provide specialized first aid to pe
