We write the year 1744 - Six years before the events of Ultima Hypocrita. The dusk settles over a Spanish monastery. Antonio lives among priests as one of them. Years and years pass by, in which he fulfills his duty piously as a librarian. But without him noticing it, a shadow stirs at the edge of the forest. From night to night, he finds it harder to sleep. He begins to feel no more appetite. Nightmares begin to haunt him - images of staring eyes and rotting teeth. Every morning he starts to hear throbbing from a corner of the library. First softly and then deafening. There is something in the shelf screaming at him. Antonio begins to tear he knows...
