Metal School - Savatage

Throughout the late ’80s and early ’90s, Florida metal band Savatage always seemed to be on the verge of superstardom. Originally created in 1979, the Oliva brothers would shape a pretty straightforward Florida hard rock group into progressive power metal pioneers with Jon’s outstanding songwriting and Criss’ epic guitar playing. Criss’ untimely death in 1993 would change the trajectory of the band, as would the formation of international juggernaut Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They remain a band well worth checking out though, with albums and tracks that still blow minds and melt faces. Join me as a I take a look at the history of Savatage! Thanks for suggesting this one, everybody. I’ve been needing to get more familiar with this band and I’m really glad I did. Music Videos Hall of the Mountain King: 24 Hrs.
