The beginning of the Apocalypse?! The Popocatepetl volcano exploded in Mexico!

October 14 will be remembered for the annular solar eclipse and the activity of the Popocatepetl volcano. At 11:11 am this Saturday, the maximum point of the annular solar eclipse was observed in the Mexican state of Puebla. And at 14:20 the Popocatepetl volcano released a huge column of ash and gas. The powerful explosion was accompanied by tremors and the ejection of hot material onto the slopes of the volcano. The huge column reached a height of 5 thousand meters and headed towards Puebla and the state of Mexico. It is noted that due to the direction of the wind, the northeastern areas of the state of Puebla will be most affected by ashfall. Despite this, authorities maintain the second yellow phase of the volcanic danger. Authorities warn the public not to give in to rumors and listen to recommendations if evacuation is necessary. Following the eruption, two low-intensity earthquakes occurred in Mexico.
