Elite: Dangerous – Capital ships battle

Massive battle raging in the Skardee system, as the Federation attempts to expand its control into Empire territory. This was my first ever encounter with a Capital ship. They are truly gigantic – over a mile from bow to stern. This first one dropped out of hyperspace right in front of me. I didn’t want to get myself obliterated, so I remained a neutral observer. I didn’t stick around to see the victor.
