Venkat, a foundation scientist and mission command, watches on board and his team slowly descends into madness, a direct side effect of being within the eel’s vicinity. Though there were casualties, the Foundation discovers that SCP-3000 secretes a special slime, henceforth known as compound Y-909, that acts as a powerful amnestic. Atzak Protocol is initiated, although some of the scientists, including Venkat himself, struggle with it’s morality. But there is even an deeper secret to SCP-3000. It may be more than an eel.
