Gaza Death Toll In Israel Strikes Over 10,000, US: Thousands Of Casualties, Rocket Fire From Lebanon

Over 10,000 Palestinians, including over 4100 children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since Oct. 7, the Palestinian health ministry said. The Pentagon said civilian casualties in Gaza “are in the thousands” but didn’t offer a specific number. Israeli air strikes on several hospitals in Gaza City on Nov. 6 have killed eight Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health ministry. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu supports publicly disseminating a 43-minute video of atrocities committed by Hamas on Oct. 7. South Africa and Chad said that diplomatic staff in Tel Aviv would be recalled for consultations. The US Secretary of State stressed “American engagement and leadership” as he wrapped up his Middle East tour with a visit to Turkey. The IDF said some 30 rockets were fired from Lebanon and it was responding with artillery shelling at the sources of the fire.
