Manson “Master Blaster“ Gibson was one of the more unique fighters on the world stage. A self proclaimed and allegedly self-taught master of Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Gibson nevertheless won numerous titles with his unorthodox style, and even fought Ernesto Hoost to a draw in the opening round of the K-2 tournament, knocking Hoost down with a spinning backfist. Gibson’s repertoire was filled with various spinning attacks and kicking techniques that are oftentimes seen as the domain of point tournaments, but
