Interfreeze : Freezing and Interfaces Organized by ,T. Seon, ,, The objective of this school is to present the fundamentals and the latest theoretical advances and experimental activities in the field of solidification of capillary flows, porous media and heterogeneous mixtures, with a particular focus on the case of ice formation. This is an emerging subject in the macroscopic physics community, older in others (metallurgy for example), and crucial in a wide range of applications from aeronautics to environmental issues. The aim of this school is therefore to train these different communities together, but also to structure them and generate synergy between the main national and international players in these fields.
