How to create modern ruffles using wafer paper | Cake Decorating Tutorial

In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to create modern architectural ruffles for wedding cake designs, using wafer paper - my favorite cake decorating material. All you need is your wafer paper (Saracino or AD-grade ), scissors, and a pot of water. Also, I use piping gel to attach my decorations to the cake, but you can use royal icing, melted chocolate or even buttercream (just not the cream cheese frosting). Depends on your humidity, but this design should be fine in the fridge if your fridge is dry or you put wafer paper decorated cakes in a cardboard box.
