Last week the head of the IMF said economic growth led by China and the United States is accelerating, amplifying the risks of an uneven global recovery. And earlier the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development said it expected the global economy to expand by 4.7 percent this year, but warned that pre-existing conditions have worsened which could dampen the outlook.
