This video covers how to create keywords and titles for stock photos and footage to submit to stock photography platforms such as Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, iStock, Getty Images, Alamy and others. We go over our top keywording tips and strategies that will help you maximize the discoverability and sales of your stock content. We also take an actual example of a stock image of ours and walk you through our process of how we would keyword and title it. While we typically use Shutterstock keyword tool to find keyword ideas for our stock photography content, we highly recommend taking a look at free keyword tool too. This matters because not only do many stock photo platforms use order hierarchy to search for images, Google also indexes your photos by title. Because many people still start their buying process for stock images on Google, having a succinct title with properly ordered words by relevance is a must.
