A Million People Kneel In Worship (1932)

Full title reads: “Phoenix Park, Dublin. A million people kneel in Worship when Pontifical High Mass is celebrated, with solemn splendour & majestic ritual, at conclusion of International Eucharistic Congress.“ Dublin, Eire, Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland. Bishop and priests in ceremonial regalia walk in front of large altar. The Bishop (or is it possibly the Papal Legate Cardinal Lauri visiting Ireland at the time) walks to sit on the throne. Longer shot of large outdoor altar built in Phoenix Park. On a lower tier of the large structure stand men of the Irish Army. Pan over huge crowd many of whom are bowing their heads in prayers. (The scene now appear to have moved from the Park to the centre of Dublin near the River Liffe) Priests and choirboys parade in front of another altar. Various priests walk up to outdoor altar.
