How to make Fairy Wings

This is how I made my strapless fairy wings with wire and fabric :) I’ve really been on a butterfly/fairy vibe recently: Pt 1 - Fairy Wing Design Zine: Pt 2 - Real Butterfly Wing Earrings: Turn on closed captions if you want the instructions too! Materials needed: ~ tie wire (in the fencing section at bunnings). For my USA friends this is 9 gauge wire. ~ Fabric: I used “fairy organza” from Spotlight ~ Puffy paints ~ Florist tape ~ Hot glue gun ~ Electrical tape ~ A corset (to wear it) Optional: ~ Acrylic paint ~ Mod podge/PVA glue ~ My pattern for the fairy wings: Animation sample is from Fantasia:
