India floods: At least 79 killed due to heavy monsoon rains

Large parts of northeastern India have been submerged after heavy monsoon rains. Flooding and landslides have killed at least 79 people in Assam state. Millions have been forced to leave their homes. The region is also under coronavirus lockdown measures, which is complicating the delivery of aid shipments.
