Assassination of ‘TikTok Narco Queen’ Shocks Chile

Warning: this post contains disturbing content In a horrifying incident in Santiago, Chile, Sabrina Durán, known as the ‘TikTok Narco Queen,’ was brutally executed in broad daylight. The 24-year-old was gunned down on her way to a nail salon by masked assailants, leaving her lifeless in the street. Bystanders (who of course filmed the whole thing and put it on the internet) saw a masked gunman shoot her seven times while she was lying in the street. She was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to hospital. While a motive for the killing has not yet been confirmed, sources suggest it may be related to the ‘settling of scores.’ Durán, who was arrested in 2022 for leading a local drug gang, had been serving a three-year sentence under home confinement before her release in September. Despite her criminal background, she had amassed over 467,000 TikTok followers and used her platform to promote beauty products, collaborating with brands and supporting small businesses.
