Eugene’s Trick Bag cover by Janne Karhunen

Friend of mine asked me to do this cover, so I did. Eugene’s Trick Bag is a song by Steve Vai that he did for the movie Crossroads. Every serious sherd guitarist has probably played (or tried to play) this at some point. Every one has their different styles and fingerings. My version utilizes quite a bit of hybrid picking and hammer-on and pull-off techniques. I use some “illegal“ fingerings at the position shifting part (0:41) because the octave jumps are too hard for me otherwise.. :) Try this and let me know if the transcription works for you too!
