On a hostile sulfur covered region, a plume of ash rises to a height of 400 kilometers or 249 miles. This is not on Earth, but rather Jupiter’s moon Io. Io is the most volcanically active body in the solar system for volcanoes, with one eruption that has even been ongoing for at least 19 years.
