Manchester. Cheese and beer tasting is held in one of Manchester’s hotels. GV. Brewers dray with milk maids sitting on cart arriving outside the Midland Hotel, Manchester. SV. Milk maids on dray, smiling and laughing. Driver comes round takes a barrel of beer off dray. CU. Dray horses munching. SV. Hotel interior, milk maids walking behind table covered in large cheeses. SV. Milk maids mingling with guests. CU. Table laid with various cheeses with cocktail sticks in them - ready for guests to taste. SCU. Elderly man examining a piece of cheese, very dubiously. CU. Another elderly man studying a piece of cheese which he pops in his mouth and munches very slowly. GV. Guests eating and drinking. SCU. Three men tasting beer. SCU. Large Cheddar cheese, a man is screwing some sort of gadget into it to pull a portion of cheese out. SV. He takes portion of cheese from gadget and puts it in his mouth. SCU.
