Lindsey Stirling - Crystallize (Guitar Cover)

I had to do this one in two parts because I kept messing up the solo (and even with the second take it’s still messy!). The two segments are layered directly on top of the original song. I tried to emulate the expression of a violin by having my expression pedal set to control the volume of my output. I also had a fun time trying to figure out how to make dubstep-ish noises using a guitar and effects pedal; the best I came up with was using a really fuzzy distortion while controlling the pitch of my output between -1 octave and 1 octave using my expression pedal on a different stomp effect from my main distortion.
