Rick Krüger - Crossfolk Avenue

Текст с Bandcamp’а: “(english version below) Crossfolk Avenue ist mein Versuch, das, was ich als Musiker mache, unter einem Hut zu versammeln. Da treffen eigene Singer/Songwriter-Stücke auf Melodien aus ganz Europa und aus eigener Feder, Gedichtvertonungen und auch traditionelle Lieder. So ein bisschen das, was ich tun würde, wenn ich eine Band wäre ;) Ich bewege mich ständig in verschiedenen Folk-Traditionen und liebe es, mit ihnen zu spielen. Aus diesem Gedanken heraus entstand der Begriff „Crossfolk“ als Verbindung von Crossover/Crossroad und Folk. Als ich vor einigen Jahren in Schweden wandern war, entdeckte ich dort ein Gebiet, in dem alle Straßen die Namen von in Schweden getanzten Volkstänzen getragen haben. Das hat mich schlussendlich zum Artwork, welches von Nils Bittner () umgesetzt wurde, und dem Namenszusatz „Avenue“ inspiriert. Um den „crossroad“-Charakter zu verstärken, habe ich insgesamt drei Shootings an verschiedenen Locations für das Album gemacht. Alle Stücke wurden von mir arrangiert und eigenhändig im Home-Recording aufgenommen. Wer ist eigentlich “ich“? Ich bin Rick Krüger, Multiinstrumentalist (mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Holzblas- und Zupfinstrumente) und Sänger, wohnhaft in Stuttgart. Ich habe bisher in verschiedenen Bands im Mittelalter- und Irish Folk-Bereich gespielt und mache dies aktuell bei Mumpitz! Ich bin kein Mitglied bei der GEMA o.ä., diese CD darf jederzeit und überall von dir als Käufer ab-, nachgespielt und im Radio gesendet werden, solange ich namentlich erwähnt werde. Ausnahme: Ich verbiete allen politischen Parteien die Nutzung meiner CD (außer der Partei Die PARTEI gegen eine Kiste Bier) für ihre Wahlwerbung. Falls eine der Eigenkompositionen auf einer anderen CD erscheinen soll, so bitte ich um ein Belegexemplar. --------- Crossfolk Avenue is my try to condense everything I do as a musician on one record. There are Singer/Songwriter - pieces, melodies from all over Europe and composed by me, poems set to music and traditional songs. Well, everything I would do, if I were a band on my own ;) I always liked to travel between different folk traditions and to play with them. Out of this I created the idea of “Crossfolk as combination of “Crossover/Crossfolk“ and Folk. When I was wandering in Sweden a few years ago, I discovered a city quarter where all streets had names of traditional Folk danced of Sweden. This inspired me to the artwork, which was created by Nils Bittner () and also the name with the added “Avenue“. The booklet also contains photos from three different locations in Germany to underline the “crossroad“-character. All pieces were arranged by me and also recorded at home by myself. Who is “me“? I am Rick Krüger, multi-instrumentalist (mainly woodwinds and stringed instruments) and singer, based in Stuttgart, Germany. I have played in different bands playing medieval music and Irish Folk and right now I am playing with Mumpitz () and Airu (Bal Folk)! I am not a member of any performance rights organization (like the GEMA) so the CD can be played everywhere and at any time by the buyer of the music, as long as I am mentioned by name. Exception: I don’t allow any political party (except the party “die PARTEI“ in exchange for a Crate of Beer) for usage in their canvassing.
