Sunrise Express (寝台特急サンライズ出雲瀬戸), a Japanese overnight train (夜行列車), is the only sleeper train that operates everyday in Japan. :) The train consists of 14 cars, they are called Sunrise Izumo (サンライズ出雲) or Sunrise Seto (サンライズ瀬戸) depending on the car number. Today I tried the cheapest seat called “Nobi Nobi seat (ノビノビ座席)” and traveled from Osaka Station to Tokyo Station for the first time. It’s a unique and clean reserved seat that you can lie down on. If you have a JR pass (All-you-can-ride ticket only for foreign travelers), you can take the Nobi Nobi seat without any additional charge, however you need to go to the ticket office and reserve a seat beforehand.
