Just a few notes on this video: 1) this ranking order is my opinion only, and is coloured by my experiences and preferences. 2) Just because a trope feels annoying or disappointing to me, doesn’t mean it’s inherently bad. 3) Almost all of these have valid reasons for existing and can work when done well! 4) All nitpicking aside, the rule of cool, rule of funny and rule of fun take precedent over any pedantic realism!
