✮ Title award “Kammersänger“

On Wednesday, February 2nd, the Vienna State Opera honored three outstanding artists after the performance of B. Britten’s opera “Peter Grimes“ on the open stage. World stars Jonas Kaufmann and Bryn Terfel were awarded the Austrian professional title “Kammersänger“. Australian conductor Simone Young has been made an honorary member of the Vienna State Opera and she was presented with the golden ring of honor of the Vienna State Opera.
