#2023AUDIO-VISUAL CHINA HUBEI MEDIA WEEK IN AMERICA & CANADA

Joyful Travel in Qianjiang Qianjiang is an exquisite city that combines both ’aesthetic appeal’ and ’substance.’ Here, there is a romantic charm of water town gardens, with numerous lakes and rivers crisscrossing the area. Once a corner of the ancient Yunmeng Marsh, it is the second homeland of the ’living fossil’ plant, the dawn redwood. In the early 1970s, the documentary ’Water Town Gardens,’ reflecting the beauty of Qianjiang’s dawn redwood, was screened at the United Nations, causing a strong global response. Fanwan Lake National Wetland Park is the habitat of the internationally endangered species, the Baer’s Pochard, renowned as the ’Yunmeng epitome and paradise for migratory birds.’ Additionally, there is the key project of the South-to-North Water Diversion, the first dam on the plain—the Xinglong National Water Conservancy Hub, the longest waterway green corridor in the country—the Xinglong Ecological Greenway, and the largest artificial dawn redwood forest in Hubei Province—the Guanghua Dawn Redwood Park. To enhance the ’Water Town Gardens’ brand, the entire city is currently working to create an exquisite city with water town garden features. In the future, we will have more and more cultural and tourism projects that allow deep experiences of the water town’s charm.
