I went a lot more metal with this one as I wanted to create something that stood in stark contrast to the debut single ”Demons Within”. This one is a lot more fast-paced and riff-based but still has a huge, pop-influenced chorus and a heavy, seriously down-tuned breakdown. Being a guitar guy since childhood, growing up with Yngwie Malmsteen, Jeff Loomis, etc. I decided to put a really shreddy solo in there as well. In short, there’s a lot going on in the 3 minutes and 11 seconds that this song plays.
