Huge Moose Charges Across Road In Front Of Cop Car

This footage shows a large elk jumping out into the road in front of cops in Finland who avoid hitting it by inches. The incident took place on a road somewhere in the historical region of eastern Finland when the large elk, which is known as a moose in North America, suddenly jumped out in front of the police while they were driving on the road in the middle of the Finnish wilderness. As can be seen in the footage, the police vehicle appears to have been travelling at about 100 kph (60 mph) at the time of the incident, even though the local speed limit is 80 kph (50 mph) until winter, because the officers were out on an emergency call, according to the Eastern Finland Police Department (EFPD). The police officer driving the vehicle at first spotted one elk by the side of the road, but as their vehicle approached, another elk appeared before them, according to local media outlet Yle.
