Sennheiser MD 421 II vs Shure SM57 - Dynamic Mics Shootout on Upright Bass - Want 2 Check

Sennheiser MD 421 II vs Shure SM57 - Dynamic Mics Shootout on Upright Bass Want 2 Check - Short and Sweet Reviews In this video, we record double bass with two dynamic microphones: the Sennheiser MD421-II and the Shure SM57. Each mic is placed about 9 inches from the bridge of the bass and record the exact same performance. I tried to place them as close together as possible, each mic is aligned somewhere between the bridge and the left f-hole, but closer to the bridge. There is no EQ or any processing involved in the recording, which was made using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and Cubase.
