La Palma Volcano Update; Orange Glow of Lava, Fields of Sulfur

The La Palma / Cumbre Vieja eruption ended its several month long eruption on December 13th. Yet, recent video has emerged which shows an orange glow emenating from several of its craters, alongside recorded temperatures exceeding 500 degrees celsius. Alongside several of these hot vents are fields of beautiful yellow sulfur crystals. So, what is going on? Why is the volcano still producing steady plumes of volcanic gasses? This video will answer these two questions, and describe the aftermath of La Palma’s VEI 3 eruption.
