THREADS Trailer

Trailer I put together (since no official one exists) of the BBC produced THREADS from 1984. This is the most unrelentingly bleak drama about nuclear war that was produced during the Cold War. Set in the industrial town of Sheffield, England, story centers on two middle class families, particularly young Ruth who is pregnant. On the news, a conflict escalates between the U.S. and Russia in the Middle East into the unimaginable holocaust of World War III. THREADS then realistically and unflinchingly chronicles the events that follow.
