Special Training with Shotokan Karate Master Kazumi Tabata - Mid 1980’s
“Shotokan Karate Special Training: Two Perspectives“
This is a student-made short film documenting one of Sensei Kazumi Tabata’s famous “special trainings.“ This is not your grandmother’s kata seminar. At one time a student needed to attend two of these sessions before earning a black belt. Take a look and get the barest taste. As we say so often around these parts, welcome back to the old school.
We guess that this was filmed in the mid 1980’s. If anyone has any more information, please let us know in the comments!
