M’lady’s Dress (1926)

A “Hockley“ pink georgette evening gown with a white and silver lace coat is modelled. A woman arranges flowers, flouncing around in her floaty evening outfit. She comes closer to the camera and strikes a coy pose. Next up is an oyster charmeuse Court gown, with classical drapery. The woman modelling this is seen in L/S and C/U. A dainty bright rose evening gown with oriental embroidery is featured next. The model turns for the camera and sits down. A painted chiffon number with a pleated underskirt is the next outfit we see - the model comes in and shows her seated friend her new outfit. A black charmeuse evening gown with cream lace overdress, daintily finished with red cire ribbon waistband is shown. We see the feet and bottom of the dress in C/U then the camera tilts upwards to reveal the whole of the dress. The model turns to show off the back. Safety print exists.
