In an interview with Al Jazeera Arabic, Doctor Nahed Abu Taaema at Al-Nasser Hospital, provides an update on the condition of the nurse who was shot in the chest by an Israeli sniper while in the operating room on Thursday.
Taaema stated that this incident was “part of a series of attacks by the Israeli army targeting medical institutions.“
Despite coordination and following the specified route, Israeli forces on Wednesday opened fire on an ambulance, killing Palestinian Red Crescent paramedic Mohammad Al-Omari and injuring several others.
