The Dancing Bees, Ngaio SCD Club’s annual dance, May 10, 2014

’The Dancing Bees’ was the first dance on Ngaio’s dance programme on May 10, 2014. The MC was club tutor Melva Waite, and the music was provided by Peter Elmes, John Smith, Aileen Logie and Mary McDonald. ’The Dancing Bees’ is a reel devised by Roy Goldring. And I believe it doesn’t refer to insects. It’s about a couple of humans, Mr and Mrs Bee - but who were they? I think I heard that their names were Penny and Robert?
