The inability to be rescued makes him such a tragic character, where Lacie (cause she was obviously older) failed to ask for help (or properly, didn’t want to ask for help), Louis managed in his own way and still his only desire couldn’t be fulfilled (I’d legit call Louis Oswald and Lacie’s brother lmao).
