Бах - Фуга Соль Мажор (орган)

An outstanding performance of a stunning piece of music at the skilful hands, and feet, of Matthias Havinga, a Dutch musician of marvellous talent. I never fail to be in awe, both of this arresting work by Bach - full of energy and joyful musicality - and the overwhelming pleasure of witnessing it being performed so superbly. Bravo Matthias! I’m not ashamed to say that I was reduced to tears by this. What a foot-tapping pulse this work has in its complex beauty and exuberance - it is nourishment for the brain, as well the spirit. And this is also a salutary reminder that I should stick to my wax crayons and sand pit in recognition of the prodigious talent out there in the World ...
