Northern California residents fear ground contamination from military site

It’s been 60 years since the military left Lincoln, California. Some residents fear ground contamination that remains is moving toward their homes and could have dire consequences for the Placer County community. Northern California once had three Titan 1-A Missile sites to help support Beale Air Force Base, the others being in Chico and Live Oak. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers become involved at the Lincoln missile site in the early 90s after Trichloroethylene (TCE) was found in the ground.
