Founded in 1957, the Institute of Hematology and Blood Diseases Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (hereinafter referred to as the IH) is the only level A tertiary blood disease specialty hospital in China. IH also houses the State Key Laboratory of Experimental Hematology and the National Clinical Research Center for Blood Diseases.
