FILA Wrestling Olympic Protest
The Wrestling Community united during the Greco-Roman and Freestyle World Cup taking place in Tehran (IRI) on 19-22 February 2013.
In an attempt to show their disapproval of the IOC Executive Board’s recommendation to reject wrestling from the 2020 Olympic Games, all athletes of the 14 participating nations united on the mats and held each other’s hands in a sign of solidarity and brotherhood.
