In the 1950’s Sir Hugh Beaver (knighted by the Queen for his service after WWII) set mathematician-turned-brewer, Michael Ash, on a mission to create a better pint. Officially known as “Brewer in Charge of Samples,” Michael Ash and his team pioneered beer nitrogenation.
