Many thanks to Mario for the English translation! *Lim Sukyung (Flower of Unification), born 6 November 1968 is a South Korean activist and politician. She is best known for attending the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students, held in the DPRK and praising President of North Korea Kim Il Sung in 1989, without permission from the South Korean government. She attended the festival representing the student organization Jeondaehyop, now known as Hanchongryun. Because it is forbidden for South Koreans to travel to the DPRK, she came by a flight from East Berlin, GDR, to Pyongyang. On her return to South Korea, she was arrested and sentenced to 5 years in prison for unauthorized entry into the DPRK *Choe Ryong Hae is currently President of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly
