Question discrimination assessment in English

Based on almost 3 decades of clinical experience and several published papers, the materials organise visual and verbal stimuli in sequential randomised order, providing clinicians with clear instructions on what to ask, what to reinforce and how to score responding. The book, in A4 format, contains all the images and the instructions to assess verbal questions on visual stimuli from the simplest to the most complex, up to the discrimination of a complex event with multiple agents, topological concepts, pronouns, direct objects and function objects. The assessment enables behaviour analysts and language interventionists to test the extent to which the acquired tacts, such as names, colours, actions, places, categories, parts, and functions are under multiple verbal and nonverbal control. Included with the picture book are a paper copy of the data scoring booklet and the QR Codes with links to the instruction video and both the interactive PDF version and the printable version of the data booklet for ease of use with multiple learners. The assessment provides clinicians with the relevant baselines to inform verbal programming and curricular decisions with the aim to monitor and anticipate verbal conditional discrimination errors and avoid rote intraverbal responses.
